In January of 2005, Reddin Mortgage Group was born. Owned and operated by Kim Reddin, it is a fully independent mortgage brokerage company located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.The primary focus of Reddin Mortgage Group is to provide financing for clients purchasing a new home, but in addition to financing purchases, we also work with homeowners who want to take equity out of their home for the purpose of renovating, investing, or even consolidating debts. Our Homeowner’s Consultation Service is a financial review of a client's existing mortgage in comparison to what is currently available in the marketplace. We will analyze the numbers and make recommendations to help our clients save money. In addition to residential mortgages, we offer financing options for rental property, vacation homes and commercial properties. Kim graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island in May of 1991 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and stepped right into a career in the banking
industry. Through the years she held a variety of positions including Mortgage Specialist until February of 2002 when she went to work as a mortgage agent with a local mortgage brokerage firm.Having acquired a variety of experience in the mortgage industry over the last 17 years, Kim decided to follow her dreams of business ownership and opened Reddin Mortgage Group on January 1st, 2005. Kim is an Accredited Mortgage Professional, a designation provided by the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals. Guy Arsenault - mortgage professional  Guy has been a mortgage lender for over 14 years and has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in the financial industry. Born and raised in Summerside, PE he began his career in 1993 as a personal banker with one of Canada’s leading Chartered Banks in Toronto, ON. While working on Bay Street, he held a number of positions within the bank including Account Manager, Credit Management Advisor, Call Centre Manager and the Mortgage Assistance Program.Guy eventually returned home to Summerside in 2001 to continue his banking career as a Mortgage Specialist, providing excellent customer service and mortgage lending advice to all Islanders and non-resident home owners. In 2007, he became an Accredited Mortgage Professional and left the bank to join Reddin Mortgage Group. Heather graduated from St. Mary's University of Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2002 where she received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double major in Finance and Management. She then moved to PEI and began her professional career as an Account Manager with a leading Chartered bank where she spent the next 3.5 years gaining valuable experience in the financial industry. This experience included personal lending, financial planning, asset management and mortgage financing.After graduating, Heather continued to develop her education by successfully completing the Canadian Securities Course and is now working towards her Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation which she expects to obtain in 2008. Heather has also been a member of CAAMP (Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals) since 2006 and will soon become an Accredited Mortgage Professional. Heather joined Reddin Mortgage Group in June 2006 and although she has experience in arranging financing for all client needs, she specializes in Alternative Mortgage Lending and helping to arrange financing for clients who may not qualify for mortgage financing through a traditional bank. She has formal training in mortgage products & financing options, customer service & decisioning credit applications. Sylvia Gahan - office administrator 
Sylvia is the office administrator for Reddin Mortgage Group. She has over 25 years experience in the banking industry working in various capacities throughout the years including business banking most recently. She retired from her banking career in 2002 and has been working in mortgage administration since that time. Sylvia manages our client files and is a critical part of our mortgage team. You may find yourself speaking with Sylvia regarding your final choice of mortgage term or any changes you might need to make to your mortgage request.
